Fénix Convertible Clutch
Three bags in one, inspired by renewal. The Fénix Convertible Clutch reflects the spirit of transformation that comes with spring’s return. Crafted in soft wool with warm rust, cream, sand, and sage tones, its Zapotec diamond motif radiates outward like a rising flame—an echo of the season when the earth awakens and new life begins again.
Carry it your way throughout the day. Use it as a pouch to organize your essentials, slip on the leather wristlet for an effortless clutch, or attach the adjustable crossbody strap for hands-free ease.
- Bag: 6” × 11” × 3”
- Wristlet Strap Circumference: 11.5"
- Crossbody Strap Drop: Adjustable 20”–26.5”
- Interior: One open pocket
Each piece is handwoven using traditional techniques, and slight variations in color are a natural part of the process. Differences in dye lots, fiber absorption, and the artisan’s individual touch can result in subtle shifts in tone from one bag to the next. These variations are not imperfections, but a reflection of the handmade nature of each piece—making every bag uniquely its own.
Our artisan partners utilize aniline and natural dyes, including indigo.
As a natural part of the carbon cycle, wool is one of earth’s most sustainable materials. Energy from plants is converted to wool through the sheep, and the sheep’s manure helps more plants grow. This is a natural and renewable process that is gentle on the animals, and the environment.
In addition to the light footprint of wool’s creation, it is a quality and long-lasting fiber, which means that wool lasts longer and requires less laundering than other textiles. Wool is also one of the most recycled fibers, and eventually, at the end of its life, it is one of the most biodegradable.

Many of the traditional designs found on our Mexico Collection are taken from pre-Hispanic Zapotec ruins such as Mitla and Monte Alban. Each of these symbols has a deep cultural meaning to the people who weave them. We are honored to share these beautiful designs with the world.
