Primavera Bucket Tote
The Primavera Bucket Tote is a relaxed bucket-style bag inspired by the fresh rebirth of spring in the Oaxaca valley. Soft sage greens and warm rust tones frame a row of Zapotec diamond motifs, woven by hand on a traditional pedal loom. The pattern reflects generations of weaving tradition, while the airy palette evokes new growth and sun-warmed earth.
With its slightly taller, easygoing silhouette and comfortable leather straps, the Primavera Bucket Tote is made for everyday adventures. Spacious enough for your daily essentials—and a few extras—it transitions effortlessly from errands around town to a relaxed afternoon out. Casual, timeless, and full of character, it’s a bag you’ll reach for all season long.
- Bag: 15” × 12” × 4”
- Strap drop: 11"
- Interior: Open pocket
Each piece is handwoven using traditional techniques, and slight variations in color are a natural part of the process. Differences in dye lots, fiber absorption, and the artisan’s individual touch can result in subtle shifts in tone from one bag to the next. These variations are not imperfections, but a reflection of the handmade nature of each piece—making every bag uniquely its own.
Our artisan partners utilize aniline and natural dyes, including indigo.
As a natural part of the carbon cycle, wool is one of earth’s most sustainable materials. Energy from plants is converted to wool through the sheep, and the sheep’s manure helps more plants grow. This is a natural and renewable process that is gentle on the animals, and the environment.
In addition to the light footprint of wool’s creation, it is a quality and long-lasting fiber, which means that wool lasts longer and requires less laundering than other textiles. Wool is also one of the most recycled fibers, and eventually, at the end of its life, it is one of the most biodegradable.

Many of the traditional designs found on our Mexico Collection are taken from pre-Hispanic Zapotec ruins such as Mitla and Monte Alban. Each of these symbols has a deep cultural meaning to the people who weave them. We are honored to share these beautiful designs with the world.
