Sundown Cinched Bucket Bag
The Sundown Cinched Bucket Bag captures the shifting light of the day’s end in a palette of desert blues, deep greens, warm rust, and sunlit gold. Handwoven wool and supple leather come together in a softly structured silhouette that cinches with ease, balancing beauty and function. With its roomy interior and adjustable strap, it’s the perfect bag for everyday essentials—whether you’re catching the last light or heading into the night.
- Bag: 11” x 8” x 8”
- Strap drop: Adjustable 20”-25”
- One open internal pocket
Each piece is handwoven using traditional techniques, and slight variations in color are a natural part of the process. Differences in dye lots, fiber absorption, and the artisan’s individual touch can result in subtle shifts in tone from one bag to the next. These variations are not imperfections, but a reflection of the handmade nature of each piece—making every bag uniquely its own.
Our artisan partners utilize aniline and natural dyes, including indigo.
As a natural part of the carbon cycle, wool is one of earth’s most sustainable materials. Energy from plants is converted to wool through the sheep, and the sheep’s manure helps more plants grow. This is a natural and renewable process that is gentle on the animals, and the environment.
In addition to the light footprint of wool’s creation, it is a quality and long-lasting fiber, which means that wool lasts longer and requires less laundering than other textiles. Wool is also one of the most recycled fibers, and eventually, at the end of its life, it is one of the most biodegradable.

Many of the traditional designs found on our Mexico Collection are taken from pre-Hispanic Zapotec ruins such as Mitla and Monte Alban. Each of these symbols has a deep cultural meaning to the people who weave them. We are honored to share these beautiful designs with the world.
