Tierra del Sol Pouch
The Tierra del Sol Pouch brings warmth and color to your everyday essentials. Woven in rich rust tones with accents of soft sage and cream, its centered Zapotec diamond motif reflects generations of weaving tradition while echoing the sunlit earth and desert hues of the valley. The bold palette and geometric pattern give this compact piece a striking yet timeless character.
Sized just right for keeping your small essentials organized, the Tierra del Sol Pouch works beautifully as a makeup bag, large wallet, or catch-all inside your tote or weekender. The soft wool texture and thoughtful design make it as practical as it is beautiful—an everyday companion you’ll reach for again and again.
- Bag: 6” × 11” × 3”
- Interior: One open pocket
Each piece is handwoven using traditional techniques, and slight variations in color are a natural part of the process. Differences in dye lots, fiber absorption, and the artisan’s individual touch can result in subtle shifts in tone from one bag to the next. These variations are not imperfections, but a reflection of the handmade nature of each piece—making every bag uniquely its own.
Our artisan partners utilize aniline and natural dyes, including indigo.
As a natural part of the carbon cycle, wool is one of earth’s most sustainable materials. Energy from plants is converted to wool through the sheep, and the sheep’s manure helps more plants grow. This is a natural and renewable process that is gentle on the animals, and the environment.
In addition to the light footprint of wool’s creation, it is a quality and long-lasting fiber, which means that wool lasts longer and requires less laundering than other textiles. Wool is also one of the most recycled fibers, and eventually, at the end of its life, it is one of the most biodegradable.

Many of the traditional designs found on our Mexico Collection are taken from pre-Hispanic Zapotec ruins such as Mitla and Monte Alban. Each of these symbols has a deep cultural meaning to the people who weave them. We are honored to share these beautiful designs with the world.
