Tierra Verde Fringe Crossbody
The Tierra Verde Fringe Crossbody blends heritage craft with effortless movement. Woven in rich wool, its Zapotec design features a striking arrow motif framed by soft and deep shades of sage, accented with warm rust and cream. The palette reflects the fresh greens of the valley after the first rains, balanced by sun-warmed earth tones. Long leather fringe adds texture and motion, giving the bag a relaxed, western-inspired spirit.
With its adjustable crossbody strap and compact silhouette, the Tierra Verde is made for all types of adventures, from Sunday fun days to summer festivals to everything in between. The roomy interior includes two open pockets to keep essentials organized while you’re on the move. Artful yet practical, it pairs beautifully with denim, boots, and anything that calls for a touch of handcrafted character.
- Bag: 10” × 9” × 2”

Each piece is handwoven using traditional techniques, and slight variations in color are a natural part of the process. Differences in dye lots, fiber absorption, and the artisan’s individual touch can result in subtle shifts in tone from one bag to the next. These variations are not imperfections, but a reflection of the handmade nature of each piece—making every bag uniquely its own.
Our artisan partners utilize aniline and natural dyes, including indigo.
As a natural part of the carbon cycle, wool is one of earth’s most sustainable materials. Energy from plants is converted to wool through the sheep, and the sheep’s manure helps more plants grow. This is a natural and renewable process that is gentle on the animals, and the environment.
In addition to the light footprint of wool’s creation, it is a quality and long-lasting fiber, which means that wool lasts longer and requires less laundering than other textiles. Wool is also one of the most recycled fibers, and eventually, at the end of its life, it is one of the most biodegradable.

Many of the traditional designs found on our Mexico Collection are taken from pre-Hispanic Zapotec ruins such as Mitla and Monte Alban. Each of these symbols has a deep cultural meaning to the people who weave them. We are honored to share these beautiful designs with the world.
