About Cactus Silk
Cactus silk – locally known as "Sabra" – is a plant-derived silk harvested from Saharan aloe vera cacti. It is woven on traditional wooden looms into patterns featuring ancient symbolic motifs. Hand-dipped in dyes of spectacular hue, the fabric is then sun-bleached and air-dried to achieve its unique, burnished character.
Care
Never machine wash - the spinning motion of a washing machine will destroy the delicate fibers. Absorb any liquid spills with paper towels or a clean cloth. Dry cleaning is the best option for removing stains.
